Neelix. Neelix /ˈniːlɨks/ is a fictional character in the television series Star Trek: Voyager. He is played by actor Ethan Phillips. Fictional Biography[edit] Neelix is a Talaxian originally from Rinax, a moon of the planet Talax, in the Delta quadrant, although his great-grandfather was Mylean.[1] His entire family was killed in a conflict with the Haakonian Order. This forever haunts Neelix, although he masks it with his bright, constantly cheerful personality. He has a characteristically Talaxian physical appearance, with mottled temple ridges and a blond "hair tube" carefully arranged on the top of his head. Neelix and Kes are romantically involved when they board Voyager, however, their relationship is later terminated by Kes under the control of an alien rebel during an away mission.

Harry Kim (Star Trek) Having never experienced adversity, he has fewer of the tools for coping than some of the others. Though he tries to keep such thoughts from surfacing, he's scared. He's over his head in this mission; he thought he'd be gone for a month and then go home to share his adventures with his folks. But what has happened is unthinkable, and often he has the sensation that it's just a bad dream, that he will wake up in his bedroom at home, to the sound of his mother singing in the garden, and his father hammering copper plate for sculpture.

Tuvok. Overview[edit] Tuvok was born in 2264 on Vulcanis, a lunar colony belonging to the Vulcan people. As a teenager Tuvok fell in love with Jara, the daughter of a Terrelian diplomat. Jara did not return his affections. He was expelled from school. His parents sent him to study then with a Vulcan master to learn to control his emotions. During his early service with Starfleet, Tuvok became increasingly uncomfortable associating with non-Vulcans, and he resigned his Starfleet commission in 2298 to pursue his people's Kolinahr regimen of true non-emotion.
It is learned during the final episode of the series that Tuvok suffers from a degenerative neurological disease, which can only be cured by undergoing a mind-meld with a family member. After Voyager[edit] In the non-canon Star Trek: Titan novel series, Tuvok joins William Riker on the USS Titan as tactical officer, leaving Voyager. Doctor (Star Trek) The Doctor, an Emergency Medical Hologram Mark I (or EMH for short), is a fictional character from the television series Star Trek: Voyager, played by actor Robert Picardo. The character also appeared in the now-closed Star Trek: The Experience Borg 4-D Adventure at the Las Vegas Hilton. Attempting to develop a realistic personality, The Doctor not only manufactured a holographic family,[1] he had an increasing number of other "human" experiences. This resulted in The Doctor's program evolving to become more lifelike, with emotions and ambitions.
He developed meaningful and complex relationships with many members of the ship's crew. The Doctor submitted a holonovel titled Photons Be Free to a publisher on Earth, detailing the manner in which holograms were sometimes treated by Starfleet. The Doctor's standard greeting was "Please state the nature of the medical emergency" when activated, though later modified to say whatever he chose.

The EMH Mark I, of which The Doctor was an example, was a computer program with a holographic interface in the form of a Human male Doctor. Although his program was specifically designed to function in emergency situations only, Voyager's sudden relocation to the Delta Quadrant and the lack of a living physician necessitated that The Doctor run his program on a full-time basis, becoming the ship's chief medical officer.
