Do you mind if i knit. Hello!

do you mind if i knit

Back after another week away from blogging, work load, you know the thing, will just skim over it because it's very boring. Just to say sorry for yet another absence. In my last blog post, I said I'd tell you more about the dress I was wearing under the dress I knitted, in the photo above. It's a dress I love to wear, and I can imagine other people loving wearing it too, so I thought I'd share my source with you. I didn't sew it myself, it was made by Kate at Harmony and Rosie, and bought from her shop. I tell you, it was bloomin freezing when these phots were taken by Helen.

Helen Stephens. Actually, she's just had another fabulous book published, which might interest those of you who know, or have small people in your life. Helen has a blog called "oh, I forgot to say", and in one of her latest blog entries she shows her drawings of my Miniature Wire Haired Dachshunds, Ellie and Douglas. If you want to see some of Helen's drawings of the doggies, go to this link. Cheerio. Baghy. ScrapTherapy by Evgenia Petzer. All my sketches: Shabby Chic Flowers. Today I am sharing how I made my Shabby Chic (sounds much better than just plain old shabby) flowers like I used on this card.

All my sketches: Shabby Chic Flowers

To make the black flower I used: Heavyweight white paper Black dye ink Brayer Spellbinders Blossom Nesitibilities (but blossom type punches will work just as well) Sanding block and/or emery board Button or large brad for centre To get the white core I brayered black dye ink on to the white paper, giving a good even coverage. Cut out three shapes using the three smallest dies in the set, don't bother embossing them Sand the edges of each layer to expose the white core (do this with designer paper as well) Crumple each layer up well.

Open each layer out but don't straighten the shapes out too much Apply a strong glue in the centre of each layer - the one I use is clear drying and holds all embellishments really well. On Wednesday evening, June 23, Michelle had an accident while tending her beloved donkeys which has left her blind in her right eye. She has shared the news of her accident in her blog post here ( Michelle is an amazing stamper and is eager to be able to start crafting again. But she also has a lot of healing that needs to occur and she needs our support. We at Stampavie want to help her on her road to recovery. To show your support for Michelle, please, please log into your PayPal account and make your donation payment, no matter how small, to the account info@stampavie.com.

Tina Wenke is also kindly working on a digital download (of a donkey, of course!) Michelle is a very loving and caring person and we are all lucky to call her “friend”! Scrap. DOT.
