http://walyou.com/ For some reason, people really like Hello Kitty. What’s so special about a Japanese Bobtail cat is beyond me, but it’s a business that brings in more than $1 billion a year to Sanrio. Joseph Senior, an art director from New Zealand, felt that there’s more to do with the … Pacman is one of the first things that comes to mind when someone thinks “classic 80s videogames”. And even today, we’re still learning stuff about the game. The Hunger Games didn’t come out of nowhere, already being one of the most successful books series in recent years, with record breaking e-book and its kind numbers.

If you're a little too impatient to wait for the Absinthe jailbreak tool to make its way to Windows, good news, there's another option. The iPhone Dev Team has released Corona, a command line-based option for Mac and Windows 7 that will deliver Cydia to your iOS 5.0 or 5.0.1-running iPhone 4S or iPad 2. Obviously, you'll want to be comfortable with the terminal and command prompt but, if you can handle a little CTRL+c and CTRL+v action, jailbreaking your brand new iOS device shouldn't prove too difficult. Hit up the source link for complete instructions on how to free your shiny A5 portable from Apple's shackles while still using your Microsoft machine.
Apple is the exclusive gatekeeper to its iPhone App Store, able to reject apps at will — as it did July 28 with Google Voice. But some developers aren’t taking the rejection lying down: They’re turning instead to an unauthorized app store called Cydia, where forbidden wares continue to exist — and even earn developers some money. That store is operated by Jay Freeman, more fondly known in the iPhone “Jailbreak” community as Saurik. Only five months old, his app store Cydia specializes in selling apps that Apple would reject or ban (or already has). To use Cydia or the apps available through it, customers need to jailbreak their phones — hack them to work around Apple-imposed restrictions — a process that Apple claims is illegal . Indeed, you can even get a Google Voice app, GV Mobile, through Cydia. http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/08/cydia-app-store/

The features and dimensions of Apple’s new iPod Touch and iPod Nano, which are hush-hush here in the U.S. ahead of their expected September unveiling, but are well-known in China. The Nano’s new camera is placed in the bottom left corner, which becomes top left when the iPod is held horizontally to take a picture, with fingers on each corner. The outside dimensions remain largely the same as previous models, but the Nano gets a widescreen display, the better to take photos with the camera on the back. This has all been widely rumored, of course. iLounge detailed the new Nano back in May .

Japanese gadget controls iPod in blink of an eye

A wink, a smile or a raised eyebrow could soon change the music on your iPod or start up the washing machine, thanks to a new Japanese gadget. The device looks like a normal set of headphones but is fitted with a set of infrared sensors that measure tiny movements inside the ear that result from different facial expressions. Last year, CEE TEE put together what has become known in Head-Fi lore as one of the best Head-Fi Meets ever . In 2012--last weekend--he topped it. I told him, after seeing last year's meet coverage, that I'd attend the next one, and I feel so lucky I was able to.
