Et non je ne vais pas vous donner de recette de pâtes, mais simplement vous parler du nouveau fil commercialisé par DMC : Hoooked Zpagetti. Nathalie d'Abracadacraft m'a proposé de tester ce fil, et bien entendu c'est une proposition qui ne se refuse pas :o) J'ai donc reçu un kit de test : des pelotes grises et roses pour réaliser deux ouvrages (ou plus) , une paire d'aiguilles et un crochet n°12 en bambou, ainsi qu'un livre avec des idées de modèles à tricoter avec ce fil.
Premières impressions : les cônes sont maousse costaud ! 850g pour 120m de fil. Le fil est composé de chutes de tissus recyclé, c'est un fil ruban et ressemble beaucoup à une bande de jersey. Pouf Lounge. Un pouf en tricot! Du tricot pour mes fesses: un (mini) pouf. Histoire de me rajouter un truc sur ma liste d'encours, je me suis mise à chercher sur le net comment faire ces gros poufs au crochet (Dieu seul sait comment cette idée m'est encore venu à l'esprit).
Et puis, entre temps, je suis tombée sur ce tuto trop bien, en français, fastoche et tout le tralala, d'un pouf au tricot!! Alors hop hop hop, ni une ni deux (bon en fait si, ça m'a pris un temps certain pour les trouver dans mon bazaar), ni vu ni connu (aucun rapport avec la choucroute), j'ai sorti mes plus grosses aiguilles (000, anglaises je crois qui correspondent apparement à du 10) que j'avais piquées à ma mère ben quoi elle les voulait plus, mon Phil coton 7 bleu qui avait été détricoté moultes fois dans une tentative de snood (je crois que ce fil n'était pas fait pour faire un snood, non, son destin était de se retrouver sous mes fesses).

Tai maton alle! Arvatkaa montako kertaa oon meinannut potkaista matossa olevan rutun suoraksi ja tajunnut silleen puoli sekunttia ennen potkua että ruttu ehkä sisältää jotain. Ostin tuossa jokin aika sitten Snurresta matonkudetta kissanpesä mielessä. Mutta olipa jotenkin hankala projekti! We really liked the pouf from Christien Meinderstsma, but it´s way out of our price range. This simple pattern for a knitted stool has much thinner yarn, but the budget is just as thin;) Nice to rest your legs on, and very popular for the kids. What we used:Eskimo, 18 balls (Or yarn suitable for US #13 needles)Acrylic yarn would probably be a really good alternative, as it´s a piece of furnitureUS #19 circular needles2 cheap duves (feather and down) How we did it:Cast on 35 stitches using three threads.Knit the garter stitch until you´ve knitted all the balls, and there is just enough yarn left to asseble the stool. You now have ONE rectangular piece.Cast off loosely. Assemble the first long side. Stuff the duves into the stool. Assemble the other end in the same manner as the first. And there you go!
