Background Welcome to the 14th edition of the Deloitte Football Money League, in which we profile the highest earning clubs in the world’s most popular sport. The Money League is published nine months after the end of the 2009/10 season, and is therefore the most contemporary and reliable analysis of clubs’ relative financial performance. Key findings Congratulations to Real Madrid who head the Money League for the sixth successive year. Los Blancos will doubtless be confident that they can match Manchester United’s eight year hegemony enjoyed from 1996/97, the first edition of the Money League, through to 2003/04. FC Barcelona is placed second in the Money League completing a Spanish one-two for the second successive year. We expect a battle between Spain’s two Superclubs for top spot in the Money League for the next few years at least, with on-pitch performance likely to be a key driver.

Siden 1991 har Bergen hatt verdens største pepperkakeby. Men i fjor ble gleden ødelagt da pepperkakebyen ble funnet smadret rett før den skulle avdukes.
Nyheten fikk store oppslag, og det ble utlovet dusør til de som kunne bidra til å oppklare saken. I kveld ble årets pepperkakeby offisielt åpnet. For at noe lignende ikke skal kunne inntreffe i år voktes kakebyen døgnet rundt. - Vi vil ikke oppleve dette igjen. Så i år er det vakter på stedet hele døgnet, sier pepperkakebygeneral Steinar Kristoffersen til NRK. - I tillegg til at folk fra et sikkerhetsselskap går vakt utenom åpningstiden er det montert kameraovervåkning ved inngangspartiet. Men helt problemfritt gikk det heller ikke med årets utgave av pepperkakebyen. Ordfører Gunnar Bakke satt nemlig værfast i Aberdeen.
