I am sometimes asked how I style my hair, and while my method is far from perfect, I thought I'd show you how!
If you’re tired of always wearing your hair the same way, down or in a ponytail, here is a hair tutorial for a simple braided updo that is very pretty and flattering. Day 20 – Plaited half up hairstyle Plaits twisted and tied together create an effortless half up, half down hairstyle.
Last month I did a makeover story with Kelsie and had many requests for a maiden braid tutorial. Yesterday she came in and we photographed these simple step by steps. Kelsie has extremely long and thick hair, but anyone with shoulder length or longer can do these braids (see my photo below for an example).
The cascade braid recently exploded as the new "trend braid" of the season. The waterfall effect looks cool and complex, but it's easier to style than you think.
