Today I’m thrilled to offer a special twist on our traditional Tuesday city guides. For years, I’ve wanted to offer a second (and third and fourth) take on a city from the perspective of one of its local talents. The book sidelined us with work for a bit, but we’re finally back on schedule and kicking off this special mini-city guide series with an interview and a local’s guide to St. Louis from one of my favorite musicians, Pokey Lafarge. After seeing Pokey perform on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, I was hooked.
