Scraphappy - Ali Edwards. ...hello Monday! A friend is having her baby today (YIPPIE), so we've got a little sibling addition to the house today to play. it's great fun to have another here - the more the merrier, truly. the more kids in the house, really the less supervising in have to do... not that i'm a micromanager of my kids by any means, but one more means new stuff and new ideas!

Had date night over the weekend and went to see Act of Valor. have you seen it? If so, what did you think? I love using cloth napkins to dress up our dinner table, and through the years I've grown even more fond of their sustainability and cost effectiveness. Though, I'm not sure how cost effective it is if you keep buying more and more cloth napkins each year! This holiday season I thought it would be fun to look at how I could dress up the napkins I already own to give them an extra festive vibe.

Check out three simple ways you can give new life to your table linens. And hey! Two of them are even no sew! Ribbon Trimmed Napkin This look is so (no sew) simple! Supplies:-ribbon-heat bond in width of ribbon-cloth napkin (buy mine here)-iron-fabric scissors (not shown above) Step One: Trim pieces of your ribbon to be about 1.5 inches longer than the width of your napkins. Step Two: Fold down the edges of each ribbon segment about 1/4" and iron flat. Step Three: Iron the heat bond to the ribbon (pressing with hot iron for two seconds), then peel off the paper backing. Pom-Pom Trimmed Napkin.

Thegoodlife. Well Hello Friends!! In case you were wondering where I've been for the past month or so, I thought I should pop in and tell you that I had a baby. And not just had a baby, but a nearly 11lb baby! And also, I tried having him the way nature intended. But, after two hours of pushing, that just did not happen. At 5:49pm on November 2nd, Bodie Fletcher Pebbles was pulled from my uterus (feet first!) By a team of doctors, nurses and an intern via c-section, weighing in at a whopping 10lbs 15oz and 23" in length! (Photo Card design by Minted.com) Do you want to hear all the gory details? First: Did you know that I was on bed rest for about the last two weeks before my due date?

(Little Red Riding Hood, The Woodsman, The Big Bad Wolf and Grandma in her belly.) I really, really wanted to dress up my belly for Halloween, for some dumb reason. The day after Halloween, I went to my weekly appointment, now technically a couple days overdue. Isn't that cute... I started having contractions at 11pm. Thedailydigi.com. I inspire me.
