WINE. Responsible investments. In January 2011, Rothschild & Cie Gestion became a signatory of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI).
As a UN PRI signatory, we consider environmental social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria in our investment analysis and decision-making process, in the interests of our investors. These principles also promote transparency for listed companies in communicating with their stakeholders. In applying the UN PRI, we consider the drivers of investment performance and returns, as well as the quality of the underlying asset. Community Partnerships. Through our community partnerships we aim to make real and measurable change to people’s lives.
Our initiatives are focused on two key areas: education and community development. We work in partnership with a number of schools in economically deprived areas close to our offices to support students, teachers and governors. Our current initiatives include careers mentoring schemes and work experience, support for children in transition from primary to secondary school, and Young Enterprise. We aim to help students achieve social mobility by broadening their horizons and developing their self-confidence.
