Young Urban Farmers (YUF) is our private service business offering people their own vegetable garden. You get to choose the type of garden as well as which varieties of plants you want to grow. Cultivate Toronto (formerly Young Urban Farmers CSA) is a non-profit community initiative that has a greater education and outreach component. CultivateTO runs a backyard community-shared-agriculture (CSA) program where larger scale gardens are set up in specific neighbourhoods in Toronto (Riverdale, Dovercourt, and Wychwood) and shares of the garden are sold to community members. Events 2014 - About the Treemobile Have you ever wanted fruit trees in your yard, but were unsure about what to plant, or where, or where best to obtain them? The Treemobile is a volunteer-run project of Transition Guelph & Transition Toronto that can provide fruit-bearing trees and shrubs to our members at as low-cost as we can, deliver them to your door, and offer location and plant care consultation (by phone or email), and even do the planting!
