My first 10km run - any good tips. It sounds like you have the stamina to do the 10k so thats OK. Keep your training going until 1 week before the race and then in the last week relax, do short runs just to keep your legs moving, though you can do these faster than normal (say 2 or 3 miles per run). For the actual run you want to be well hydrated so that your pee is clear (a good sign), food wise, you don't need to do much different from normal - I'll assume that with your training you manage to eat and still have energy?
So thats good for the 10k. In the morning of a 10k race I have eaten porrige, cereals, bacon sandwiches, nothing, jelly babies and even had a hangover - all seam to get me round the course. The porrige or bacon bun produced the best results actually so they might be an idea of what to eat. Aim to get to the race in advance - there could be traffic problems. Clothing - Don't change anything from your training. Enjoy the race as you go.
