Updated With Links: Announcing the 2010 BlogHer Voices of the Year! | BlogHer
Today we are pleased and proud to announce the 2010 BlogHer Voices of the Year! This year we expanded the Community Keynote concept that we started in 2008 (thanks to Eden Kennedy 's brainstorm and ongoing curation) to allow us to shine a spotlight on even more great work. As we announced in March , that means that below you will find 90 finalists across five categories, including three finalists per category who will also present their work as part of the 2010 Community Keynote on Friday August 6th. That same evening the Voices of the Year Gala will include an art auction, curated by kirtsy , featuring custom-commissioned artwork that evokes the spirit of these 90 Finalists. This year we received nearly 1,000 submissions , so I must start by thanking our Voices of the Year Committee who helped us arrive at the 90 amazing pieces you'll see below, and hear a sampling of at the Community Keynote:Blogalicious @ BlogHer – I’m in a Bloggy State of Mind : Blogalicious
This philosophy is the underlying current of the mega success behind the Instagrams and the Pinterests and the Spotifys that we instantly loved. It's time to apply that philosophy to your blog or business; take a moment to ask yourself: How am I inspiring my readers? Is my brand resonating with my customers? You have doubtless heard tell of the glory that was Sparklecorn 2009 . Well now's your chance to experience it — again or for the first time — because MamaPop is throwing an even bigger and more badass party at this year's BlogHer. And you — yes, you! – are invited! Please to be noting: Party-goers must have some kind of pass for the conference in order to RSVP for the parties. This can be the Party-only Pass which is still available at http://blogher10.eventbrite.com .
