.....aka Angel Food Cake French Toast. Yeah that's right, cake for breakfast. :) I had to name it angel toast because this french toast was lighter than air! The egg mixture didn't weigh it down at all and even hubby, not a huge angel food cake fan, really liked it.
Ok, these are not pop-tarts exactly, how about just-like-pop-tarts-but-without-the-stuff-you-can’t-spell (or say)?
One of my favorite things at a Hibachi restaurant is the Fried Rice and Benihana's is so good. I found a recipe online and am going to try it tonight! Recipe via Food.com :

I am a complete sucker for any recipe that does something out of the ordinary with eggs…provided that it stays within my weekday “must be able to be made in 30 minutes or under rule.” I love and adore eggs (which works out so conveniently with my love and adoration of bacon), but there’s only so many poached/fried/scrambled eggs a girl can eat, and variety is the spice of life, and all that.
Pictured above are 12 toasted marshmallows. Warm, gooey, sweet, toasty good. The rest of the bag of marshmallows… I ate those standing in front of the oven waiting for these little puffs to bake.
I'm so excited today for a number of reasons. First, we had such a lovely weekend. We celebrated both Shaun's mom and my mom's birthdays on Friday and Saturday.
A new year always brings new resolutions. And I do have new resolutions (in a post to come), but this would be the same resolution I’ve had pretty much every year that I can remember – get healthier. Hopefully this is the year that sticks. It has to stick through January, because I’m in a group of ladies trying to lose 10 pounds by February 4th. Even if it doesn’t stick all year, a month of healthier eating/exercising is better than nothing, right?
I just love when friends and family send me new things they have found and they invite me to try them too. My husband's Aunt Betty sent me this a few weeks ago and I just got around to trying it out and it is a WINNER!! You could even make this up and give a Christmas gifts either the whole recipe or in a small glass jelly jar with the directions to make more and how to mix up and bake.
This is one of my favorite pumpkin recipes! I subscribe to several recipe sharing groups, and this recipe popped up in my email inbox a few years ago.
Just the scent of this soup is healing. You start by sauteing garlic and ginger in sesame oil then add chicken, vegetables, both and noodles. As the aroma of sizzling ginger fills your kitchen, things start to look up.
We are a dippy family. Yeah those you that know us probably just nodded your head yes and agreed with that statement, but I’m not talking that kind of dippy, I’m talkin’ dip dip.
Tomato Basil Parmesan soup in the slow cooker. This is the stuff that your taste buds dream of! Printable recipes cards and download of this recipe can be found HERE .
You know that fantastic soup they serve at Greek restaurants??
