DIY PROENZA SCHOULER INSPIRED WRAP SKIRT. 11th September 2012 I’ve been obsessed with brocade wrap skirts since I saw them on the Proenza Schouler AW12 runway, and recently I worked with Grazia UK to bring to life my favourite AW12 trend. This was possibly the most simple project I’ve done in a while, and I urge you to have try. You can definitely sew this one by hand if you want to (bonus!). The inspiration – Proenza Schouler AW12 You need: 2 yards of brocade fabricScissorsMatching thread2 or 3 press buttonsA sewing machine (or hand sew) How to: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Such a simple skirt to make! I wore this skirt on Day 1 of New York Fashion Week and quite a few people commented on it – proof that you don’t need to splash loads of cash in order to look great!

Make sure you grab a copy of Grazia this week to see my tutorial in the magazine. Images: my own and Vogue.com. Wardrobe-rehab-white-tee.
