La démocratie et l'Assemblée Nationale Le 24 novembre 2009, Aurélie Filippeti a fait un malaise dans l’hémicycle à l’Assemblée Nationale. Quelques photographes, présent dans l’hémicycle ont fait des photos. Sous la pression des députés, qui les traitaient de charognards, ils ont été évacués, manu militari par les huissiers. Rassemblés dans la salle de presse on leur a demandé d’effacer les cartes des appareils photos avec interdiction de diffuser les photos…. Aujourd’hui, 2 décembre 2009, des militants de Greenpeace ont tenté de déployer une banderole dans l’hémicycle. Ainsi à l’Assemblée Nationale, il est interdit de prendre des photos lorsqu’une séance dérape...
Curieux ces députés qui veulent faire croire que tout se passe tranquillement à l’Assemblée Nationale…. 19h périphérique, il pleut... sale journée pour les photographes... Hundreds of thousands of French and German soldiers lost their lives in this north-eastern corner of France, where fighting raged for months in 1916. Yesterday’s enemies are now united on the battleground. Members of French and German historical associations, all keenly interested in the First World War and all passionate about historical re-enactments, gather in Verdun every year to take part in a commemorative march.
One sunny Saturday in March, I joined up with four historical associations who took part in the event: “Le Poilu de la Marne” – from France, and “Darstellungsgruppe Suddeutches Militar”, “IG 18” and “Verein Historische Uniformen”- from Germany. The French wore the uniforms of “Poilus” as French infantrymen in the First World War were nicknamed.
