Before going anywhere outside of Melbourne I always make sure that I know where all of the quilting/craft shops are located. This was the same for Paris. I found two that looked promising. I only made it to one of them but I found two more while I was over there.

So here are my three favourite shops in Paris. Ultramod Ultramod was the only shop I had on my list before I went that I managed to get to. The shop is over 2oo years old and its walls are lined with vintage buttons, velvet ribbon, tassels and very expensive lace. I went here on the morning of the craft show so I didn’t want to spend all my pennies in one place. This kind of lace was used in France back in the day as an heirloom that could be used for something special then unpicked and handed down through generations to be treasured and loved over and over again. Mum is a bit unsure of what to make out of it but I’m sure when she decides we will post it for you all to see. La Mercerie These shops tend to have lots of tassels too. Oh, hello friend | blog. You guys know I love business cards. So attending Alt Summit this year, I knew I wanted to make something fun. I had an idea that it would be neat to include a tiny notepad with helpful sayings and prompts to be productive and get things done. I contacted some local printers to see if anyone could make a 1” x 3” notepad – and found one who could!

Here are the supplies I used. I wanted a thick card so I had some backing board from clear bags that I cut down to business card size. I printed out my logo/website on sticker paper and cut that to size. Also used our hello tape and our pocket envelopes to place everything inside. I have to say these took a long time, having to cut down everything by hand. I used a little kraft label that I printed to hold the notepad down and it wrapped around just slightly to the other side. All the goodies fit into the little pocket. Upcycled Treasures. Fall For DIY. The Easiest Berry + Mango Cream Popsicle Recipe - Paper and StitchPaper and Stitch. Now that it's officially summer, I thought I would give some popsicle recipes a go. This first attempt was more of an experiment to see how little effort I could put in to make something that actually tastes good, than anything else. But I ended up really liking them, so I thought I would share. And in case you're wondering, it turns out, 3 ingredients is all it takes to make a good popsicle.

*I could have paired this down to two ingredients, but let's be real...I wanted to get that pretty stripe in there. So three ingredients it is!
