Hi Carrie,

Thanks for agreeing to write the next Eye for Education article for Primary Times! I’m very excited to have you onboard as I’m confident that you’ll be able to raise the bar considerably for future issues!

For the Winter issue, we need an article linking somehow to Christmas. I have attached a few examples so you can get a feel of the layout and style of writing – it obviously has to be scientific but fun and engaging as well as Primary Times is a family magazine!

Please feel free to add a ‘DO try this at home’ section or ‘Fun Facts’, ‘Did you know?’ etc. Word count is max 1000 but 800-900 is perfect so we can include pictures.

The deadline for text is 14 November, although I need to know a general theme as soon as possible so William can start the background design. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you want to meet up and discuss. I’ll need to get a head shot of you at some stage as well so let me know when suits best for this.

Thanks again,
Ann.
