I am a lazy knitters, I don’t like knitting that take too much work or is too boring. This doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate lace or cables and enjoy knitting them. It just means I like to keep things simple, a wonderful easy to memorize lace pattern, super bulky yarn when you need a quick knit, or some elegant waist shaping that takes the monotony out of boring stockinette that goes on forever.

Koolaid Dyeing at the Lunatic Cafe
Dyeing yarn with Koolaid is a fun, easy, and inexpensive way to try hand-dyeing. Koolaid plus water, vinegar and a heat source (such as a Crock-Pot) will produce some beautiful, lasting colors in protein-based fibers, such as wool and silk.

To make it a proper Lego brick it needed 8 knobs. These were made from soft drinks lids - the boys were allowed to drink extra coke so I had enough red lids! I chose to use the same colour as the yarn to reduce show through.There are 125 different species of monkey. The loudest are howler monkeys, which can be heard more than 3 miles (5km) away. All monkeys love to eat bananas.
