Baseball Team Finding It's Groove The SRJC baseball team continues to gain ground in the Big 8 Conference by sweeping lowly American River this past week. On Tuesday, the Bear Cubs pushed off to a great start by beating conference foe Modesto 6-3 on the road. Santa Rosa has now won five straight, while their opponent has dropped six in row. The Pirates are the No. 5 ranked team in northern California at 20-10 and 6-9 in the Big 8. SRJC moves up two spots from No. 9 to No. 7 in the Northern California Junior College Baseball Polls. The Bear Cubs (22-8,10-6) and Pirates played even until the bottom of the fifth, that's when Modesto scored three runs making it 3-0.

Campus Tours for K-12 Schools and Community Groups Complimentary campus tours for K-12 schools or community groups serving future SRJC students are available with advance reservations. The Schools Relations and Outreach Office schedules standard tours of the Santa Rosa Campus Petaluma Campus, and Public Safety Training Center. Tours of the Culinary Arts Center are temporarily not available. Campus tours are provided Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters by SRJC Student Ambassadors. During June and July (Summer Session) tours are available Monday through Thursday. Tours are not scheduled during the first week of classes or during Finals Week. Department and Program visits are available by request depending on staff and faculty availability in the desired department and will be considered for groups no larger than 60 participants total.
