It is very important that you are fitted correctly with the SpringBoost, so as to best benefit from the shoe's pioneering dorsiflexion and energy plate technology.
Ideally you want some room for your toes since the construction of the shoe is exaggerating your toe-off movement. At the same time you want both of your feet to be securely locked into your shoes. Your toes will need less room in SpringBoost physiological footwear compared to conventional shoes, but there still should not be any major contact between the tips of your toes and the front of your SpringBoost. The natural rolling movement over the dorisiflexion apparatus will cause the foot to initially slip backwards, not forwards, as in conventional shoes; before it springs forward over the energy plat in the forefoot.
Since the function of the SpringBoost is to enhance your entire foot-strike activity, this causes more movement (and need for more precise fitting) than in most regular shoes. These models run true to size: Discussion : General - SpringBoost shoes - first impression. Jeff W (---.static.fasttrackcomm.net) 9:04pm Apr 22 2008 Well, the free overnight shipping really did happen. Got the SpringBoost B-Train shoes in black. They look bad-a##. Construction seems to be very well done with quality materials and attention to detail. They work on the theory of dorsiflexion to walk and work out with increased stretch in your calf, achilles and to put your body in better alignment. I started with the 1 degree dorsiflexion footbed. SpringBoost B-Train Trainers Review. By Adam Sinicki Product Name: SpringBoost B-Train Trainers Price: 4/5 Effectiveness: 9/10 Overall: 13/15 Hey, I put some new shoes on and suddenly everything's right...
Okay, people weren't smiling at my shoes... but I was. I've been pretty poor just lately, and it's shown in my attire. What's special about the B-Trains is the 'dorsiflexion' (I presume that the 'x' is there to make it sound cooler, not that the marketing department were dyslexic), a specially designed aspect of the shoe that allows you to alter the angle of the insole. So does this work? And what of them as normal shoes? Ooh next I'm going for B-Volleys... they apparently make you jump higher!
