Brush Tip Markers. Untitled. Hello, Stampers!

untitled

I have a great Stampin’ Up! Sale for you!! There comes a time when you have bought almost every single item that has been in Stampin’ Up! Catalogs (since I joined almost 5 years ago), you must start purging (or move to a larger house, which my husband has flatly refused LOL). Therefore, I have been reorganizing, and making some very difficult decisions on what I can realistically keep. I am ready to let go of the following stamp sets, but first, here are the prices. Clear and Photopolymer Stamp Sets: $10Wood Stamp Sets: $12Single Stamp Sets: $10 Background; $6 for wood or $4 for Clear and Photopolymer Before you review the list, read this: If a stamp set is listed twice, it is because it is offered as wood, clear or photopolymer as well. I'm excited to share that I'm guest designing with Ruby Rock-It this month. They sent me the super cute and fun Happy Days collection to create with. Today, I'm sharing the two scrapbook page I created for my guest post and that were up on the Ruby Rock-It blog yesterday. For my first layout, I wanted to keep the focus on the photo of my niece on the day of her First Communion. I went with a rather simple design and created a small cluster of embellishments from the Happy Days collection. You can download Rose Cluster for use on your own projects! For my second layout, I was inspired to create a quilt like pattern because of the Happy Days Patchwork paper. The jar embellishment was fussy cut from the Captured Moments paper. Dictionary Magnets with Crafty Words

I used crafty words from the dictionary, but you could use any words you wanted. And the great thing about using dictionary pages is that they aren’t necessarily “girly” and would make great gifts for guys. Think of words that relate to his field of work so he can hang them on his filing cabinet or toolbox. Other ideas could be sports or hobby related words, see the end of this post for several suggestions! A couple weeks ago I attended the CHA trade show in Anaheim, California. Apple Coasters. When I was a kid I dreaded the day that I would start seeing commercials for school supplies and my mom would suggest we go buy a new backpack.

Apple Coasters

I didn't even want to think about giving up my summer freedom. Sometimes, to add insult to injury, the first day of school would be on my birthday! But these days, with first-days-of-school far behind me, I actually look forward to this time of year more than any other. I love the crisp weather, the foliage, my birthday, and I really love apples!

Since apples are so quintessentially autumn and because they're so graphically appealing, I was inspired to celebrate this beautiful time of year with a super cute set of Apple Coasters. The Apple Coasters are close cousins to my summertime Citrus Coasters, which is to say that they are a total breeze to make, no fancy stitches or skills required. Materials. Creative Scrappers.
