As far as races are concerned, anything goes really. That being said, don't try and be something ridiculous like 1/8 human 1/8 elf 1/8 dragon 1/8 tree etc =P Vampyr are, for all intents and purposes, the vampires of this role play. They must drink blood to survive, have greater than average strength and speed.
