Hey PBS, There is No "Compassionate" Way to Kill Babies in Abortion. Parents of Seven Children Reject Abortion to Have Baby with Trisomy 18 - Trending Christian Blog. For couples, there is perhaps no more frightening time in life than childbirth. The past, present, and future all seem to collide as the soon-to-be-parents await the delivery of their new child, and cautiously begin building hopes for its future. The sense of promise is almost palpable, but for many parents, this can all change in one heartbreaking instant.

Bernadette and Philip Smith were one such couple. Already the parents of seven children, the two were devastated when doctors informed them their upcoming daughter would be born with Trisomy 18. Trisomy 18, or Edwards Syndrome, is a genetic disorder that causes severe birth defects in children. The doctors informed Bernadette that their daughter likely wouldn’t see her first birthday, and advised her to abort. I held onto faith and the Word of God. Though Hannah eventually succumbed to her illness, the Smiths do not believe their time or suffering was wasted. What we’re seeing is not isolated cases of moral failing. We Know They Are Killing Children—All of Us Know. One biblical principle of justice is that the more knowledge we have that our action is wrong, the more guilty we are, and the more deserving of punishment (Luke 12:47–48).

The point of this blog post is that we know what we are doing — all America knows. We are killing children. Pro-choice and Pro-life people both know this. But before I show that, let’s clarify what the Supreme Court did forty years ago today. In Roe v. One step was to say, laws may not prevent abortion, even during the full nine months, if the abortion is “to preserve the life or health of the mother.” For forty years this has meant that any perceived stress is a legal ground for eliminating the child. 1.

Many simply say it is the lesser of two evils. 2. We know what we are doing because 38 States (including Minnesota) treat the killing of an unborn child as a form of homicide. It is illegal to take the life of the unborn if the mother wants the baby, but it is legal to take the life of the unborn if she doesn’t. 3. Guns, Abortion and Tyrants - LaShawn Barber. (WNS) -- Guns and abortion. One is an enumerated, constitutional right, and the other is not. The Second Amendment guarantees the right of the people of the United States to keep and bear arms. It’s not a government-given right; it’s a natural right — the right to defend yourself, your family, and your freedom.

In rare circumstances, abortion might be necessary to preserve the mother’s life. But there is no right to kill unborn babies in the U.S. Constitution. I made the point on social media that conservatives should tie any talk of gun restrictions to abortion restrictions. Imagine the worldwide uproar if a conservative American president began issuing executive orders restricting the “right” of women to kill their unborn babies. People will always manage to get their hands on guns, just as women will always manage to kill babies they don’t want, regardless of any laws on the books against it.

In the minds of some liberals, unborn children don’t count. Planned Parenthood Reports Record Year for Abortions - Religion Today Blog.
