C’est un terme générique que l’on donne à des études destinées à mettre en image des informations généralement statistiques au moyen de superbes illustrations très graphiques. On appelle cela aussi graphisme d’information. Ces infographies sont de plus en plus à la mode, car nous avons toujours plus besoin d’explications, de détails, de précisions, à l’heure où les informations sont de plus en plus nombreuses et rapides. C’est donc pourquoi on les retrouve sur de nombreux sujets aussi variés que l’hypothèse des caractéristiques du futur iPhone, au nombres de d’heures passés sur les réseaux sociaux par jour sur les différents continents du globe, ou tout simplement la présentation d’un nouveau produit ou service d’une société.

Das Thema der Villa Rotterdam, geplant von den Architekten Ooze lautet ‘Living in a structure’. Das Haus besteht tatsächlich aus multiplen, geometrischen Strukturen, die sich zu der 549 Quadratmeter großen Villa ergänzen. Entstanden aus einem vorhandenen Haus aus den 20ern modellierten die Architekten, ausgehend von den gegebenen Strukturen, das Haus um und ließen es in Breite und Höhe wachsen.

Vietnamese designers Vo Trong Nghia combined natural materials like bamboo with contemporary design practices to create the wNw Bar in Thu Dau Mot Town, Binh Duong, Vietnam. Besides being culturally relevant, the bamboo structure also employs environmental functions, by drawing cool air from the surrounding water up through a hole in the roof of the structure.
