Who wouldn’t love crispy potatoes flavored with butter, shallots and a touch of lemon thyme? The lemon thyme was my only deviation from the recipe. Well, maybe that wasn’t the only change I made. You’ll start off by melting your butter and adding the olive oil.

The only negative to this recipe – you’re going to need to peel four pounds of potatoes. If you have a mandoline and are not terrified of using it (that would be me), you can cut your potatoes on it. Once you have all the potatoes snuggled nicely in place, peel and slice the shallots. Here’s how to make them: Remove Stalks and Ribs First, step — remove thick, woody stalks and any thick ribs from the kale. Then, tear the kale into smaller pieces — they shrink a little when baked. a little bit of home

Poof! Absorb itself right back into the atmosphere from whence it came, never to harass me again. The laundry room really isn’t terrible in and of itself, but the muck and mud, swim gear, random tools, shoes from people who don’t even live here, in addition to the shoes of those who do, clutter around the debris that should actually live in a laundry room: the piles dirty clothes + baskets of clean clothes waiting to be folded. The worst offender of the place was Swim Corner (the opposite of the serene and always cheerful Pooh Corner). My kids are on a competitive swim team, and swim 5-6 days a week, after school and sometimes in the morning.

The solution? (it’s always the solution in our house) BINS.
