The whole team at MacStories has worked together to come up with a short list of iPhone, iPad and Mac apps as well as a short list of games that we believe were the best to come out in 2011. @ phoghat : My point is I was giving a real analogy to the Singularity. I was saying that any human-human comparison is nothing like us pre- and post- the Singularity. The jump to a post-a singulaity is far, far, incredibly far bigger. ANY human, from 20,000 years ago, maybe even 100,00 or 200,000 ago, if brought into our societry could learn it. And a human can actually go from newborn baby, who can't do anything for itself, to a fully-functioning person on the world in only 18 years. Add the 9 months since conception, and in 18 years, 9 months humans can go from sperm and egg to fully-functioning humans in the modern world.
