Still, I haven't been able to plauhe Japanese subtitles. The problem is that whenever I have the .srt and .avi file in the same directory, windows media player will not play the video at all. All I get is a black screen and the video will not start. When I take out the .srt file out of the same directory, the video plays perfectly fine. However, when I load the video in VLC player, the video will play, but all I get are blocks where the subtitles should be. I do have the East Asian Languages support installed.
