Volkswagen Launches Augmented Reality Campaign In Your Daily Paper
Volkswagen Singapore has marked the launch of its inaugural iPhone app, advertising its full range of vehicles in daily newspaper The Straits Times via an augmented reality print ad that let consumers explore model features and book a test drive with one touch. Singapore’s first augmented reality newspaper ad featured on New Year’s Day, allowing readers to interact with the AR vehicles and access a mini showroom via their iOS devices. The VW SG app was developed by Tribal DDB Singapore and is available for download here .Starting in January 2012, Facebook will gradually begin showing Sponsored Stories social ads in the main news feed of the web version of the site, a representative of the company tells us.
