While Fair Trade is a familiar concept to these countries, none has contracted a deal with major and well-known actors such as OXFAM, COFTA or again FTO.

Indeed the acquisition of the “Fair Trade” label generates expenses and often requires numerous administrative procedures. And yet, the groups of women supported by our partner organisations most likely correspond to the criteria required to benefit from the attribution of this label. AJA Mali (Youth Action Association) has a solid experience in fair trade.
