Beautiful temporary drawings created using ink, erasers and paper towels By Emma Reynolds Published: 11:52 GMT, 3 July 2012 | Updated: 19:15 GMT, 3 July 2012 These are the astonishing masterpieces created by a high school teacher during his 25-minute lunch break - and then simply wiped away.

Gregory Euclide began making his ephemeral artworks to show pupils at his school in the Minnesota River Valley what could be achieved in just a short space of time. But the students were so affected when he casually erased the beautiful creations that Mr Euclide decided to release a series of the temporary ink designs. Scroll down for video Creative outlet: The art teacher says his unusual habit of drawing on whiteboards started as a way to release stress Talent shines through: Gregory Euclides creates the beautiful images using Japanese Sumi ink, erasers and paper towels 'In our culture, there is a strong emphasis on reproduction and the original seems less important,' said Mr Euclide.

Kinko White. Second only to A Tale of Two Cities, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien is the second best selling novel ever written. The popularity of this amazing fairy tale and its predecessor The Hobbit, along with the screen adaptations and action figures has brought about some amazing fan art, like the paintings featured here by deviantARTist Kinko-White. Her watercolor and tea stain paintings capture some of the best characters, bringing the fantasy to life on the paper along side some memorable quotes.
