Baking soda is another natural home remedy for rusty blades. Start by mixing and stirring baking soda and water into a thick paste, spreading this paste over the rusted blade, and letting it sit for an hour, then brushing the blade with a toothbrush or the pad gently to remove all the rust.
Individually, both baking soda and vinegar are a widespread solution to get rid of a stain, rust from your stuff. However, sometimes those rusts are too hard to remove. In this case, mix vinegar, baking soda, and salt into a thick paste will be an extremely applicable rust remover. It may take more time to deal with the process, but it is perfect for cleaning a full collection of items and kitchen utensils.
