Quand tu Tim O’Reilly encadre et écrit en gras: Le concept des “sensors” qu’on peut traduire par “capteurs”, est plus un concept pour faire du buzz, plutôt qu’une tendance à court ou moyen terme.

Salmon aims to define a standard protocol for comments and annotations to swim upstream to original update sources -- and spawn more commentary in a virtuous cycle. It's open, decentralized, abuse resistant, and user centric.

Minding the Planet: What's After the Real Time Web?
In typical Web-industry style we're all focused minutely on the leading trend-of-the-year, the real-time Web. But in this obsession we have become a bit myopic. The real-time Web, or what some of us call "The Stream," is not an end in itself, it's a means to an end.In this article from 2005, Ben Hunt casts an eye to the future of a more connected web and how we will experience it through new social applications. It will be a new networking platform that builds on today’s world-wide web and makes possible new generations of more powerful and useful applications. My vision is of a next-generation web that is just as simple and flexible as web 1.0, but more interconnected and powerful. At its core, it will incorporate a universe of connections that reflects the real-life links between people, organisations, services, products, web sites, and other entities.
