Master Closet - His - traditional - closet - detroit - by CBI Design Professionals, Inc. Lovely Spaces – Craft room (Part 2) Hello my lovely readers! This past weekend was so crazy! We lost our power Thursday night – I’m so glad I schedule my draft post – The bad part I spend days without power in our house, when you work in your computer that’s kind of a vital ingredient hehe. This past storm was pretty big and brought a lot of snow and that caused a lot of trees fall down =[ It was my first time in a storm like this and it was pretty surprising to see a lot of street closed, cars stuck and not being able to cook or have heater (the bad part about having electric stove!)

So now that you are all updated in my weekend, I want to share some of my favorite Craft room/Office images, all of them collected via Pinterest! [source] [source] Don’t you just love the closet desk idea? Even though the pink version would not work with my long legs it’s just adorable [source] [source] [source] I also love the contrast and pops of color [source] [source] [source] [source] And last but not least, wall calendar and notes ideas [source]

Dream Green Home Plans. Bedroom design. Room design. Dining Room Wall Upgrade. I am so excited to finally share our updated dining room! Check out those gorgeous walls! Remember what it used to look like? Bleh. I saw the idea for horizontal board and batten on Pinterest from Milk and Honey Home: She used a bright orangeish/coralish color for the top but we went with a light taupe color. Here's how we did it! We went to Lowe's and purchased a bunch of 1x4x8 boards. The walls are still gray at this point and the boards are not primed/painted yet. Next, we used caulk to fill in some of the gaps, the nail holes, and any extra spaces that needed some refinishing. Progress shots: first coat of paint and the dining room in complete disarray! And after a second coat of paint and setting the furniture back out, it is complete!

A shot of the empty wall where our shelving will go (someday!) Wide angle shot: need that shelving (mentioned above) and some art. Doesn't it give the room such depth and dimension? Peek towards the kitchen: looks great together! 30 Thrilling Open Plan Living Rooms with a View. Designing an open floor plan can be a great way to make your living areas seem more spacious.

What is the first aspect that comes to mind when thinking about modern living rooms? For us it’s openness. And since we already featured a post on Freshome showcasing 26 wonderful living room ideas, we decided to continue this amazing display with 30 open floor plan living rooms that are very much in agreement with the modern interior design trends. Not too long ago, our writer Ronique wrote a post called The Pros and Cons of Having an Open Floor Plan Home, where she mentioned how today the open floor plan is a sought after amenity in any home, as half walls and visual dividers allow a family to converse and interact. In this post we did not only gather interiors that have the ability to connect, but also fascinating rooms with a well defined personality and a highly appealing look.

Bedroom. Bedroom - Small Bedroom 2012 | bedroom furniture, decorating ideas, designs 2012. A Miniature World of Fantasy and Games: Rhapsody Children’s Beds. We don’t know if it is right to call the furniture products below “children’s beds”, simply due to the fact that the last thing children would think about while being in them is sleep. The beautiful wooden Rhapsody Beds (we have to respect their official name) come from CedarWorks and were created while respecting the dreams and wishes of children. They are not just a place for sleeping, but more important for playing, exploring, discovering. We think “imagination” is the key word that can characterize these beds, as they manage to put together a miniature world which the children can “customize” in any way they desire.

Cushions, sliders, toys, chalkboards- all these elements increase the kids’ creativity as well as their ability to interact with one another. Don’t you find them just… cuddly? - via Decosfera. The Italians from Zalf are renowned for their modern furniture, but today we laid our eyes on their latest teen room designs. With bold lines and vibrant colours, the rooms suit as great inspiration for anyone trying to redecorate the kids room or are looking for furniture that suits a teenager .

They all come with contemporary furnishings, have an eye for details and look stylish enough for an adolescent to love its own space. I wish I had one of these bedrooms when I was a kid. Like it? – via. Cool Interior Tree Home: Best Kids Bedroom Design Ever? There are a lot of ways to make a nice bedroom, but for kids there is an element of excitement that is just as important as bedroom size and style.

As these pictures illustrate, a cool bedroom for children can be a virtual fantasy world in itself – in this case by making the outdoors the driving interior design idea and central concept of the bedroom space. Complete with climbing ropes, ladders, swings and all kinds of hidden storage spaces, this bedroom brings all of the elements of an outdoor play space inside and makes the room feel like a self-sufficient home at the same time. The best part, of course, is the tree house in the center of the room – who would not have enjoyed that as a kid growing up? Though this kind of cool bedroom design for kids can of course be contracted out to someone else like Kidtropolis, it is also perhaps an opportunity for a fun do-it-yourself project that engages children in the activity of designing and building their own space.

Camp Treehouse. “Even the most modest of projects can become something beautiful. There is no such thing as too far gone. With hope and a hammer, I believe there is always a way.” - Tereasa Surratt Boy do those words ring true in today’s Wandawega post. It’s about the latest addition to David and Tereasa’s magical campsite: a modern, pitched roof treehouse- designed and built by a wonderful bunch of friends. (photo: Bob Coscarelli) The project all started with a big, old elm tree located right in the center of camp. (Photo: David Hernandez) Sadly, Tom passed away a year and a half later, and around that same time, the elm tree contracted Dutch Elm disease.

Further investigation into the elm’s condition revealed that even though its branches were dying, its trunk was still very strong. Tereasa and David’s carpenter/furniture-maker friends started by sketching out plans. Tereasa said, “Everyone had a radically different idea, and everyone was thinking 100 times bigger and more elaborate than I was. Natural Pools or Swimming Ponds.

Natural Pools or Natural Swimming Ponds (NSPs) Let nature clean the water... Chemical-free water garden and swimming pool.
