The social networking arena has seen many casualties during its continued run towards world domination. There have been several social networking ideas and brands that have become daily necessities to say the least. We’re using these services like our life depended on it, and it gives little room for anything else other than… well… connecting to other people. Some people are just obsessed with the fact that they grow their network every second they are online, and they share their life with everyone. Some even become addicts that should probably unplug for a few decades before they lose their job, but not us here at Bit Rebels.

Lacoste Tells Its Life Story in a Digital Pop-up Book – POPSOP.COM. Brand news. Brand design. Package design. Branding agencies. Brand experts

22 July 2010 | By Anna Rudenko Lacoste is paying a tribute to its heritage by launching a lovely online pop-up book dedicated to the brand’s founder, René Lacoste . The online project features visual life-story of one of the most important figures in tennis history, starting from his early years. The story is split into 6 chapters, and each of them tells (in English) about really notable events in the biography of the brand’s founder and the label itself as well. For example, from the first part the viewers can learn how René started his outstanding career as a tennis player and why an alligator became the symbol of the brand. The most important points go with an explanatory text and are supplied with original photos and videos, so that the viewers can get a deeper insight in the rich history of the brand by studying its background. http://popsop.com/36830

http://lovelypackage.com/student-work-darren-custance/ Designed by Darren Custance | Country: United Kingdom “I have designed cardboard milk packaging for glass milk bottles. The idea was to use a minimalist approach, keeping the packaging uncluttered and to make a bold statement as to what the product was. The different types of milk were in different colours to make them easily distinguishable, with the number of bottles on the front indicating the number of milk bottles inside the package.”
