DB Breweries' Export Dry Bevan from Colenso BBDO Auckland's overnight hit series The Wine is Over has been named the March NAB Newspaper Ad of the Month. "Everything had been considered," said the judges. "It's hard to get all the elements in - but they have, with an ad that's eye-catching, nicely crafted, straight to the point, with humour that's really clever." The judges were Adam Thompson (Saatchi & Saatchi NZ), Adam Barnes (Ogilvy Auckland), and Levi Slavin (Colenso BBDO, Auckland) - who abstained from judging. The winning creative team receives $250 cash with their ad also sponsored into the 2013 Axis Awards by NAB; it will appear in the What's New showcase in AdMedia and is a finalist in the 2011/12 $10,000 Newspaper Ad of Year competition - to be judged later this year. http://campaignbrief.com/
