Councilwoman Kathy Horgan read a resolution at Wednesday’s council meeting recognizing Ciabattoni for having instilled “a sense of pride in all of the citizens of the Borough of Red Bank as a result of her outstanding achievements.” Ciabattoni graduated from Red Bank Regional last month with a 97.67 grade point average, having taken numerous honors, advanced placement and international baccalaureate classes. “Even though I’ve won a lot of scholarly honors, they’re not all they’re cracked up to be,” she told the audience at the meeting, “but being recognized is an honor in it itself.” Eye of Ra. The Eye of Ra could be equated with the disk of the sun, with the cobras coiled around the disk, and with the white and red crowns of Upper and Lower Egypt.

The Eye of Ra or Eye of Re is a being in ancient Egyptian mythology that functions as a feminine counterpart to the sun god Ra and a violent force that subdues his enemies. The Eye is an extension of Ra's power, equated with the disk of the sun, but it also behaves as an independent entity, which can be personified by a wide variety of Egyptian goddesses, including Hathor, Sekhmet, Bastet, Wadjet, and Mut. The Eye goddess acts as mother, sibling, consort, and daughter of the sun god. She is his partner in the creative cycle in which he begets the renewed form of himself that is born at dawn. The Eye's violent aspect defends Ra against the agents of disorder that threaten his rule.

This dangerous aspect of the Eye goddess is often represented by a lioness or by the uraeus, or cobra, a symbol of protection and royal authority. Pssst: The 5 Best Secret Bars in New York. Prior to that, I was in two very serious relationships (both of which ended in engagements) over several years and those three men sum up the grand total of my sexual experience. But what I lack in number of partners, I like to think I make up for in enthusiasm and can-do excitement.

I know I lucked out when I met Rob, so I would trade a few wild and crazy sexual experiences for the really good one of meeting my soul mate at 23 (actually, we met at 10) -- but this idea of "sexual bucket lists" does intrigue me. Ninety percent of these can be done in the context of a loving, safe marriage (like mine). 15. More from The Stir: How to Make a Sex Tape 36. How many have you done?
