We tried to come up with what think are 20 educational apps perfect for every classroom. We were actually inspired by iTunes app list under the same title but the apps included there were definitely not what we expected to see. The iPad has always given us the opportunity to do so much more than consume information giving us opportunities instead to use our creativity to express our learning, to test our learning, to share and publish what we do.

My iPad is a bit of a mess right now.
Too many apps are in need of a folder for some kind of organization. As I began that process today, I noticed that I have an abundance of apps that were designed for creative purposes. I wasn’t surprised that I had all these apps, (they are absolutely my favorite type of apps), but I was surprised at how many new ones I have added this year. So, I thought I would take some time to share the ones that mean the most to me and to group them in some kind of order that might make sense on my home screen.

Back in early July I created the periodic table of STEAM (that’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics for those who think I’m full of hot air) apps in the same format as my previous two periodic tables. This time the various sections were different to what I had and based around different areas of ‘STEAM’. When I made this one (and the previous one too) I had meant to put them both on ThingLink and then add links to all of the different apps to the images. It was one of those things that ends up on your ‘to do’ list but you never actually get around to.
