After the bankruptcy of Malév, the Hungarian National Airline, traffic at Liszt Ferenc Airport in Budapest has decreased dramatically so that step by step Terminal 1 will be closed down. Terminal 1 of the Budapest Airport is the terminal for budget airlines such as Wizzair, EasyJet or RyanAir whose traffic can be easily integrated into Terminal 2. The newly renovated Terminal 1 will not be shut down from one day to the other but obviously all businesses connected such as Cafés or newspaper stores will need to shut down as well and most probably do not have the chance to move to Terminal 2 as the very new SkyCourt is fully alive and full of shops.
