Halloween Treats with Echo Park. Hi Everyone Another Halloween project to share today using the Echo Park Apothecary Collection. This time I have used the Digital Collection available here from jessicasprague.com. Sour Cream Containers I LOVE these! I have a tutorial showing exactly how to put them together below and you won’t believe how simple they are! You can make 12 from a single piece of 12x12 paper making these a really economical project for any season. More projects to come in the next couple of days - more edible treats too!

Post a comment with any questions Lowri :-) I am linking up this project to these websites here. DIY Tea Bag Favors. This project is perfect for tea lovers who want a creative and unique wedding favor. Here are two, easy ways to make homemade tea bags — one method requires some simple sewing while the second requires none at all. Package a set of the no-sew bags in a pretty box to give your guests or setup a Tea Bar with the empty tea bags you sew and a variety of loose teas for guests to make and take their own creations. What you’ll need: - Download tea bag tags - Lightweight cotton fabric or cheesecloth - Cotton thread or embroidery floss - Loose tea ( For the no-sew method: Start with a 6″ square of fabric. Place about 1-2 Tbsp of tea (depending on what kind you use) at the top center. Begin rolling the fabric until you finish with the end in the middle.

Fold the roll in half and secure with a 12″ piece of cotton thread. For the simple sewn method: Start with 3″ x 2.5″ rectangles of fabric. Next you will hand stitch the closure thread onto the bag. Paper Fortune Cookie Favors. Fortune Cookie Favors. I needed a favor for my friend Emily's baby shower recently, and decided to make some personalized fortune cookies. I'm not a fan of the crunchy stale fortune cookies you usually get after a meal in a chinese restaurant, but these homemade fortune cookies not only look cute, they actually taste pretty delicious! I came up with as many fortunes as I could for this new baby girl, things like "Baby Wight will never cry" or "Baby Wight will grow up to be a famous trapeze artist" or my favorite, "Baby Wight will be a boy!

Surprise! ". The fortunes were printed and cut into strips, mine are about 1/2" high and 7" or so wide. The recipe I used is a traditional tuile batter, which you drop by spoonful onto a Silpat. Once the cookies come out of the oven, you need to work quickly to add the paper fortunes and form the cookies. It takes a few batches to get all this figured out. Welcome little one.
