Animal Farm is a completely allegorical novella published in 1945 and written by George Orwell, who is an English novelist. Since its language is somewhat epic and it is a fiction novel, it has a subtitle of “A Fairy Story”. However, that subtitle is a tool or irony to demonstrate that Animal Farm is in fact more than a fable; it is clearly a reflection of the Russian Revolution in 1917 and what was experienced after the revolution. Briefly, the novella mentions a farm ruled by a person called Mr. Jones. The animals in the farm cannot resist the misdoings of Mr.
After the animals take over the farm, the pigs, who seem to be the most intelligent animals, reached the highest position in the farm. An event in the novella can be exemplified by comparing with the real life in order to comprehend how Orwell integrates reality and fiction. Another way of turning “monarchy” to “tyranny” is to make propaganda which Orwell mostly put emphasis on. References.
