Fingerprint Snowmen. Since Christmas is fast approaching we just got done reading Snowmen at Christmas by Caralyn Buehner. We thought it would be super fun to make a snowman collage using our fingerprints to go along with the story. Simple! … faite comme j’ai fait, je l’ai fait faire à Nico avec notre peinture à brillants fait maison. We are having so much fun making simple Christmas tree ornaments this year and adding some fun scents to them as well. Snowflakes are not a new craft with popsicle sticks, so we wanted ours alittle different so we added alittle extra twist to them. 1. I place several sticks in a baggie and added some peppermint extract and alittle water and let them sit over night. Then took them out and placed on a paper towel to dry. 2. Materials: Popsicle sticks (we used large ones) Paint Glue Buttons( you can add whatever you would like to your snowflakes) Ribbon Don't miss out ont he other fun things we have done this Christmas season. J'ai essayé les deux pour vous donner un aperçu et des idées. Matériel: -Assiettes de carton; -cellophane ou plastique transparent pour recouvrir les livres. J'ai pris la liberté de colorier, à l'aide d'un marqueur noir, le fond de l'assiette dans le but de faire paraître davantage le sel d'Epsom. Activités pour le Préscolaire: Frosty the snowbag!
Oh! Je l'aime ce bricolage-là! Simple à reproduire et beaucoup de plaisir à le regarder et à le secouer de tous bords tous côtés! Prenez le temps de regarder le petit vidéo à la fin du message pour voir le snowbag en mouvement! Le matériel dont vous aurez besoin est: -Un sac refermable, si possible sans logo de compagnie (éviter les Ziploc puisque ceux-ci en ont sur la plupart de leur produit); -du sel d'Epsom (se trouve dans toute bonne pharmacie qui se respecte ;); -des tampons ouatés pour le démaquillage; -de la colle blanche; -des feuilles de styromousse; -un cure-pipe; -des yeux qui bougent; -une paille. Making these scented sandpaper gingerbread ornaments was a wonderful sensory experience, a fine motor activity, and a creative craft session all wrapped up into one.
I began by passing out sheets of sandpaper while the children were having their snack. I asked them to rub their hands on the sandpaper, and to think of words that described the way the paper felt. They used words like “pokey” and “lumpy” and scratchy”, and I chimed in with “rough”, and I had the children turn the paper over to the smooth side, and wetalked about how “rough” is the opposite of “smooth”. While they continued snacking, I showed them a blank tracing of a gingerbread cookie, and asked if anyone knew what it was. Yes sirree, they all knew that it was a gingerbread man. So then I asked them “What makes a gingerbread cookie smell so good?” " They weren’t too sure, so I passed around some cinnamon sticks, whole cloves and whole nutmeg and everyone felt them and smelled them.
