Andrew W.K., the man known for his music but also for his crazy affinity for partying, is playing drums at the Oakley store in NYC's Times Square right now. He's been doing it for the last 8 hours or so, and he plans to continue doing it for the next 16 hours.
Can he pull it off? Well, staying up all night is no problem for Andrew, but playing the drums for an entire day, that's a wee bit more difficult. Andrew is not alone in his endeavor, though — he's got a bunch of special guests to help him out, including Marky Ramone, Liberty DeVitto, Chad Smith, Nick Jonas and Zac Hanson. Right now, everything looks and sounds good — so good, in fact, that we've been grooving to drum sounds for the last hour or so, and it just might be our soundtrack for the day.
