For the Dark Side, you have two options, so I show both in this video. Option 1: Gain XP Just enter the room, and you'll fight the Rogue Droid himself (350xp) and his droids and gain more XP. Option 2: DS Points & Droid Parts Enter the room with 'sound-proof' (You can find 'Sound Dampening Stealth Unit' from the corprse). *Note* During Option 2, you can switch to Option 1 by saying you want to fight him, or by failing to reprogram. If you're on the Light Side, this quest will give you '1000xp, LS points & Droid Parts' all at once. To get LS points: (LS) 126: Completed: 'Rogue Droid' Quest Console: XBox.

Lightsaber (Dual Lightsaber's):1. high damage (4 or 5 attacks possible at average damage of 20 or so)2. blaster bolt deflection3. melee range means you will automatically charge opponents, avoiding those annoying grenades.4. good ones are available fairly early... you will get a double-bladed lightsaber as soon as you rescue Bastilla on Taris.5. fight animation kicks butt.6. never have to buy them, they are all available by looting enemy corpses.
The only things that have to be bought are the "guardian of the force" and "mantle of the force" Blaster Pistols:1. Melee Weapons:1. usable by non-jedi2. very high damage possible (the Baragwin Assault Blade and Ajunta Pall's double blade can do more damage than a lightsaber, while Bacca's blade can equal one)3.
