#EAv Guide: How to get started the easy way on Empire Avenue (over 5,000 credits in under 15 minutes!) Empire Avenue is a fun site but the starting stages can be intimidating. How do you earn those first few bucks? Thinking your first investment will be a penny stock gone wild is probably a mistake. Besides, you can't reap much profit off 50 shares, and that's what new users are limited to. The trick is with achievements: a handful of simple, easy achievements that earn 100 or 200 credits each will put some money in your pocket, so that you have financial wiggle room to blueprint your future empire. Here are some of the simplest and easiest achievements for a new Empire Avenue player to earn credits from. 1.

These four achievements will earn you up to 500 credits each. 2. This achieve earns you 100 credits, then 175 credits. 3. Similar to above, you simply punch in your 5, 15, even 50 favourite brands, and boom, your wallet is stuffed with eaves! 4. Just join one City community for 200 credits, and join one Interest community for another 200 credits. 5. >It's time to get personal. 6. 48ers - Realtime Social Search. 3 Real-Time Search Engines Discover Social Media Trends. Google and Yahoo transformed how we find information. But now social media is creating real-time content that requires special search engines. As online publishing platforms and social networks have exploded in popularity, there is a new need to aggregate and search the dynamic “real-time” web. New platforms hold much promise for marketers who want to understand trends and customer problems in real time.

In this article I review three of the top real-time search engines (in no particular order), and each has a unique profile that fits certain use cases particularly well. #1: OneRiot OneRiot is the largest real-time web search engine today. OneRiot consolidates all these articles into one headline that you can click that leads you to a list of articles associated with a topic. Instead of having to search different news sites looking for a hot topic, users can access OneRiot’s aggregated real-time information on the topic. . #2: Collecta #3: 48ers The Final Word. Collecta.

OneRiot.com - Realtime Search for the Realtime Web. A few weeks ago, a small team from @WalmartLabs visited the offices of OneRiot in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. OneRiot has developed some pretty nifty technology that analyzes social media signals from popular networks like Twitter and Facebook to deliver ads that are relevant to consumers’ interests. As our teams debated the finer points of Big Data, Fast Data, and machine learning technologies, it became clear to us that we could find no better colleagues than the guys at OneRiot. As a part of Walmart, we're continuing to work with the intensity of a technology startup. Today I’m pumped to share the news that, within 30 days of that first meeting, we have closed a transaction to acquire the key assets of OneRiot. The technology team at OneRiot will move to Silicon Valley and become part of @WalmartLabs in September.

As I have written before, here at @WalmartLabs we’re doing some amazingly interesting and impactful work at the intersection of social, mobile, and retail.
