The first Parker’s Box Sunday Supper Salon, was an exclusive event at an “undisclosed location” that could be followed via a live stream visible on the Parker’s Box website. This event focused on two paintings, one by German artist, Stefan Sehler, and the other by Michael Woody, a multi-disciplinary artist originally from Mississippi, and currently making paintings in Brooklyn.

His arts theory book, Relational Aesthetics, published in 1998 has been translated in twelve different languages around the world. He therefore becomes one of the most influential arts critics in the Western contemporary arts world. Bourriaud co-founded the Palais de Tokyo, the center of contemporary arts in Paris, with Jérôme Sans, and was co-director from 1999 to 2006. In 2007, He was invited to be the Gulbenkian Curator of Contemporary Art at Tate Britain and curator of “Altermodern” the fourth Tate Triennial (2009). Bourriaud had visited Taipei Biennial in 2000 and 2012, as well as observed the local arts scene constantly.

Photo: Francine Royer Considérant l'importance pour le gouvernement du Québec de poursuivre l'établissement de liens culturels durables avec la France, le Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) a conclu une entente de partenariat de trois ans avec l'Institut français afin d'offrir aux artistes québécois l'opportunité de réaliser des résidences de ressourcement et de création en France dans le domaine des arts numériques. L'implantation de ce programme de résidences s'inscrit dans les efforts que font les gouvernements français et québécois pour soutenir ce secteur et contribuer au rayonnement des créateurs de leurs territoires.
Dans le cadre de ce programme et pour chaque année de l'entente, deux artistes québécois pourront séjourner trois mois en France, disposer d'un appartement et d'un studio de travail et profiter de nombreuses possibilités de contacts professionnels liés au développement de leurs carrières. Sites Web:
