The Phoenix Requiem

http://requiem.seraph-inn.com/ BOOK 1 at San Diego Comic Con! If you're going to SDCC this year, drop by the 4th Dimension Entertainment booth in the small press area, and pick up a copy of Phoenix Requiem Book 1! There will also be special exclusive hard cover copies available! Sadly I wasn't able to make it to SDCC this year due to a job-hunting situation, but if I was, I'd give you a big hug for buying my book and supporting all my years of drawing :)
...and I would desperately like to post more very soon, but making bad update predictions repeatedly is probably the worst thing I can do. I apologize for doing that. Let's just say I'll be doing my best with the time I have, and leave it at that.

Scandinavia and the World - ANYTHING BUT THAT

http://satwcomic.com/ Music in the background of the last picture [link] Anyway, the first picture refers to these videos [link] The snowman is a reference to a man in Sweden who got trapped in his car without food during a snowstorm and was found two months later, weak but still alive. How did he survive?
I just finished penciling the penultimate page of Cuanta Vida. I plan to to the last one this weekend, time permitting. As I’ve mentioned before I’m planning to do NaNoWriMo this year. For the uninformed it means I’m writing a novel next month. The goal is 50 thousand words in 30 days. http://tf2.skyscrapersoup.com/

JOE C: Obviously a lot has changed for Mom over the years, but her taste for martinis appears to have remained a constant. I honestly haven’t done the math, but I don’t think that Mom was 21 yet when this photo was taken. Perhaps there was already a little devil in her even back then. Then again, she may have just been holding that cocktail for someone. On the other hand, she’s certainly showing her naughty side with the costume.

http://www.straysonline.com/ Apologies everybody, but the site is currently buggy due to a server migration with our host. The server our site is stored on is worn out, so they’re switching us to a new one. The process could take a while, and in the mean time some pages aren’t loading and some comic pages have disappeared. Everything should be restored once the migration is done, but we’re not going to try to fix anything until the process is complete. If everything isn’t properly restored by the end, we’ll go through and fix whatever is left broken.

Haha, this happened to Yuko more than once on the West coast! People seem to be super friendly and ready to compliment and chat with you, which startled us. It was nice and we got used to it!

Dovecote Crest: a Civil War reenactment webcomic

January 23rd, 2011 So way back in about 2008 when this comic was first being born, if you will (gahhhh sooo loooong ago!), I sent Bridget character lists with sort of absurdly detailed backstories. Some of it has made it into the comic, some of it has proved completely irrelevant, and some of it I kept hoping would come up but never actually did. So, the following sort-of-arc will consisit of some combination of those categories of information. :)
Happy long weekend Canada! I kind of thought all kids go through a scared of the dark phase but that’s never been an issue for Sam. He’s never needed a night light and he sleeps on the bottom of a bunk bed with blankets draped around like a tent. Will he likely always be this way or does fear of the dark suddenly develop when they’re older or something (like old enough to know what fear is?). Crack is old enough, he’s just special. We had a great weekend at TCAF and a relatively stress free trip with three small children so yay!
