The Golden Era of Advertisement spanned from 1950s to 1970s, a period that can be described as the forerunner of the modern publicity. In other words, we owe so much to that period, because it was back then when creativity flourished and when bold ideas were tried. That society was still rational and looked for functionality in products, rather than fun & pleasure (well, at least in the 1950s and 1960s).
