Spin reports that they're not wasting any time in making the follow-up. The band has already finished recording their next album in singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach's Nashville studio, and they plan to release it later this year.Talking to Spin about the as-yet-untitled LP, Auerbach says, "It's the fastest we've ever played. It doesn't have that open soul feel to it. It's way more driving and the tempos are really fast. " For this album, the band once again teamed with producer Danger Mouse, who helped produce their last two albums.
