| Inspired to Share. I thought it would be fun to share our home buying story. (Warning: long post!) I love reading about other peoples’ experiences and it’s amazing how everyone’s story is a little different. Since I don’t think I mentioned house hunting on the blog before, so first I’ll back up a little. We lived in the upper flat of a duplex for the past three years. It was our first home together after getting married, and we loved our cozy life there. We were in no rush to move. Time passed and we were still quite comfortable, yet we really wanted a dog. I think it’s so important to practice loving where you live, as it can only lead to contentment. It took time and practice for me, but I really do love where I live.
