Event Planning Challenges & Solutions: Hybrid Meetings. Hybrid sessions at conferences demonstrate how technology is re-shaping the meetings landscape. Live and remote attendees have access to the same sessions. Through virtual conference rooms, remote participants are able to interact with each other receive immediate answers to questions in special one-on-one or small group interaction with some of the speakers. This week, I had the pleasure of delivering a virtual presentation called Building and Growing LinkedIn Groups to The Fresh Conference, which was a hybrid conference - the live part of which was taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Virtual Worlds: Are you ready - Anise Smith Marketing. I am a lover of Virtual Worlds and have been since attending Grad School, where we had an entire class held on Second Life. I signed up a few months before the return to school and honestly thought it was quite weird. However after the New Media Marketing Class at Full Sail University’s in the Internet Marketing Degree program, I thought the entire concept of a virtual world ROCKED. I mean REALLY RAWKED spelled in the super cool but incorrect way. I have been reading more and more about the Semantic Web and the Future of the Internet and it leads me to believe that virtual worlds are on the upward swing and that technology is moving toward embracing the concept of virtual worlds.
We are currently moving toward the end of Web 2.0 and toward WEB 3.0, which is suppose to allow us to immerse ourselves more into the technology of the Internet, this is virtual world technology.
